At home exercises with Steph Prem


Steph Prem takes us through an at home express workout with 5 moves and no equipment needed!

 

 

Warm up: Calf raises, on the spot running and dynamic stretching 3-4 mins.

 

Workout: 4 x rounds of the below circuit. 20 secs on 10 secs off with a 30-second rest between rounds.

 

Work it harder: Build up to 8 rounds

 

 

Skipping on the Spot

1. On the spot skipping rope (imaginary rope) Starting with your feet together, do small jumps imagining a skipping rope in your hands to keep time.

Squat

2. Squat jumps Start with feet shoulder-width apart, do a regular squat and engage your core to jump up.

 

 

Inch worms

3. Inchworms Starting with your hands close to your feet and your legs straight, walk your hands further away from your feet and back.

Standing Push Up

4. Standing push-ups Standing a little farther than arm's length away from the wall, feet shoulder-width apart. Lean toward the wall taking the weight on your arms and pushing back to starting position. 

 

Lunges

5. Lunges Step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle. Swap and repeat
