A healthy approach
Chances are you've heard the name Gerald Quigley. A highly respected Community Pharmacist and Medical Herbalist, he's also a regular guest on 3AW Melbourne and contributes to a wide variety of leading health and pharmacy publications. We're privileged to welcome him as Priceline's Health Expert.
"I'm a passionate advocate for the integration of complementary and prescribed medicines. Herbs, vitamins and supplements have the ability to support the actions of many medicines which are commonly used for chronic diseases whilst gentle remedies can alleviate nutritional deficiencies caused by long-term use of prescribed medications.
During my regular guest spot on 3AW Melbourne, I discuss relevant health issues, offer guidance for callers' health decisions and support initiatives which promote the idea of the patient taking a more active part in their own health management.
I also record twice daily health segments for Melbourne's leading AM music station Magic1278, I'm a columnist for Retail Pharmacy magazine and contribute regularly to a wide variety of health and pharmacy publications.
